I don’t see a line going from “I am a mod” to “yes, you should shitpost”....flowchart confusing, ended up in Albuquerque

I don’t think mods exist. They’re probably just an urban legend made up by lazy older members to keep newer members in line without actually doing anything.

I still wish we’d have a reduction in shitposting here

I brought a healthy lunch to work today but now I want hot dogs. The two closest Portillo’s locations are both roughly 80 miles from my office. I’m sure driving to one of them would qualify as performing my job duties.

looks like a place near me called Johhny Beefs. I haven’t been there in a while. mmm, If i hadn’t had gross dogs last night I would be all over that today.

Yea... I have imgur and reddit for that stuff. Oppo used to have some great car-related content (still does, but not as much).

Oppositetalk on facebook seems to have become the refuge for a lot of the content creators.

Those look interesting. This post reminded me that the rest of the country doesn’t have Detroit style coney dogs.

Just stopped into Portillo’s for lunch a few days ago. It really can’t be beat. Good thing for my health I’m not walking distance from one anymore.

Those are Chicago-style dogs but Portillo’s does have a chili cheese dog. I suppose you could ask for mustard instead of cheese to make it a coney.

This is where everyone gets it wrong lol. Detroit coneys don’t have cheese or beans. Most places use ground beef heart in the sauce, but technically you could use just ground beef. The hot dogs can be beef but they’re usually beef/pork and they have to have a natural casing. I’ll have to try Portillo’s if I’m ever in Chicago again.

Well yeah I know that, that’s why I said replace the cheese with mustard. It’d be harder for them to pick the beans out of the chili. ;)

I’m a spicy brown mustard, jalapenos, sweet pickle relish, and sauerkraut kind of guy.
